If you’re committed to your fitness journey but not seeing the results you want, it might not be your effort that’s the problem—it could be how you’re training.
Really solid breakdown, Jamie. I’ve definitely been guilty of skipping warm-ups and expecting faster results—this was the reset I needed. Loved the reminder about balancing cardio and strength training, too. Quick Q: do you recommend any specific apps or planners for structuring and tracking workouts?
Thanks, Anton! I've been using an app called Jefit for years. I find it's interface and ease of use really helpful. I also appreciate their approach to figuring out what my one rep max is for exercises. Failing that, you can't go wrong with a notebook and pen. But, I'm a data geek so I do enjoy having the history of all my workouts. I think that helps an awful lot in terms of progressive overload, too.
